Welcome Johana! Tell us a little about yourself, share with us what your career path has been and how you came to occupy the position of Commercial Director at LIVO.


I always longed to live in a place that offered peace, tranquility, fresh air and security for my family. My choice led me to the savannah of Bogota, where I have found a home that I love deeply. Since my childhood, I discovered my passion for sales, throughout 16 years of experience, I have not only cultivated that passion, but I have also found my vocation in leading work teams. Beyond my accomplishments, what really motivates me is the possibility of being a beacon for others, demonstrating that, with passion and effort, everyone can achieve their goals, no matter what obstacles they face.

 

LIVO came into my life at a crucial time, when my focus was on entrepreneurship. I wanted to understand the experience of being an entrepreneur, but I realized that I was not yet fully prepared and needed to strengthen my model. It was a beautiful experience, as I made the decision to look for an innovative company, one that offered something unique to the market and that, above all, inspired me to approach things differently. I was looking for a company with values similar to mine, that shared my vision for the future and where I could contribute my knowledge in a meaningful way. Today I am very happy to be part of LIVO. 

 

The Fractional Property industry in Colombia is booming, as pioneers we know that it will become a very competitive market. Could you tell us about the key strategies and approaches you want to implement as Commercial Director of LIVO to stand out in the market?

Of course, I would primarily implement four key strategies to make LIVO stand out in the Fractional Ownership market: 

Client Education: Many people may not be familiar with the concept of fractional ownership, clear and transparent information is key.

User Experience: Create an exceptional experience for LIVO's clients from first contact to post-sale. Provide them with virtual tours, engaging multimedia material and clear information on the details of the fractional ownership process.

Transparency and Trust: Transparency is essential in fractional ownership. Make sure to provide clear information about costs, ownership rights, and any associated restrictions. Fortunately, at LIVO all of this information is super organized and easy to access in the FAQs on our website.

Innovative Technology: We use our LIVO APP to manage reservations, financial information that take the user experience to another level and simplify processes.

Professional Advice: We provide expert, professional advice, ensuring that new clients feel supported by a competent team that guides them through every phase of the transaction, answering questions and resolving concerns at all times.

Trouble-Free Shopping Experience: We minimize obstacles and red tape, at LIVO we make sure that you fulfill your dream without worries, making sure that the buying experience is seamless.

 

As a leader in the commercial area, you have surely faced challenges and obstacles in your career. Could you share with us a significant challenge you have faced in your position and how you overcame it?

The main challenge lay in making this transition in a way that would not negatively affect team morale and productivity. To overcome this obstacle, I implemented a transparent communication process, thoroughly detailing the reasons behind the adjustments and highlighting how these changes offered new opportunities for all team members.

Additionally, I organized training and development sessions for the team, providing them with the essential skills and knowledge to adapt to the new strategies. I fostered a collaborative environment that allowed members to share ideas and concerns, generating a sense of participation and belonging.

As we moved forward, I closely monitored performance and provided constant feedback. We celebrated achievements and learned from challenges, strengthening the team's cohesion and ability to overcome obstacles.

This challenge not only culminated in a successful transition to a more efficient and customer-oriented approach, but also strengthened the resilience and unity of my team. I learned the critical importance of adaptability and open communication in managing sales teams in a dynamic and changing environment.

 

Johanna, to say goodbye we would like to know what advice you have for those who want to be part of the fractional ownership market and have their second home with LIVO?

My advice would be to focus on a few key aspects: First, it is essential to thoroughly research the market and understand the current trends. This will provide a clear picture of the specific opportunities and demands in the fractional ownership sector.
